I work at GLSS and we are teaching caregivers of people with dementia (through a grant) how to use Alexa to help them. We are also giving them Echo dots. We would really like to have Alexa speak Spanish so we can reach out to those caregivers. We also are trying to build a caregiver app, and we would like that to be available in Spanish as well.
I have two Alexa devices, but unfortunately it seems language support is not a priority for Amazon. It seems Google assistant will be a better option then...
