If we store some data in session for our custom skill will this data be encrypted and stored in Amazon cloud for that session. As session management is done be Alexa service
Hi, Alexa Session data is not persisted, so it is not exactly stored per se. If you are storing it in between sessions using the SDK, that is done in a DynamoDB table, which is not encrypted at rest by default. However, Amazon does provide a Java library for client side DynamoDB encryption: https://github.com/awslabs/aws-dynamodb-encryption-java. You may be able to use this module in conjunction with Alexa Skills Kit to get your session data encrypted when stored between sessions in DynamoDB.
