I attempted to run the 'automated_install.sh' from the sample package(?) downloaded from 'https://github.com/alexa/alexa-avs-sample-app'. I have performed this multiple times and it always fails to compile: /samples/wakeWordAgent/src/GPIOWakeWordEngine.cpp because of the missing header file: wiringPi.h.
Obviously, this program expects to be compiled on a raspberryPi device. That's all wonderful and such, but right now I just need to get this working on my linux (debian) laptop to functionally understand the required interfaces for effectively interacting with the AVS cloud service.
Do you have any code sample other that the above that demonstrates speech to text delivery to a custom application? I program primarily in C++ and my application will be written in C++ using MySql as the backend data repository.
Can anyone help?
