I have bought a 2nd generation fire stick and no apps will download.

This is the exact same oroblem i am having.. I have 3 firesticks all of them second generation and I have 4 fire TVs and all of them second generation. I am unable to get the Amazon app store on any of tbem. And most apps that I try to download it says downloading not supported at this time. Only thing I can think of is my tv is not a smart tv it is just an HD tv and using my firesticks or fire tv's is what makes it a smart tv. I have looked everywhere online and no matter how I word it I can not find an answer to why I can not download the app store and most other apps. Yes I am hooked up right and have excellent wifi/Ethernet yes my account is set up right yes I have one click preferences enabled yes I have a credit card and all of that info on file and yet no app store and can't download almost everything else. And then at times I try to get into one of my apps and it will say something happened with Amazon a d to please sign back in to Amazon appstore to continue but I can't get the app store onto my fire tv or firesticks so I could sign in. So I am just froze there. And if I sign into the Amazon app store using my. Phone or even my fire tablet it is still not recognised as being signed in on my stick or tv because I will still get a prompt asking me to please sign in to the Amazon app store to continue. I have even sent the Amazon app store app to my fire tv and fire stick using .y phone and fire tablet and would get a message saying it was sent successfully. But I try to find it to open it and the app is nowhere around. Please somebody give me a answer.
I have tested both my Wi-Fi speed as well as my ethernet both of them is fast so it's not that I have used for five different browsers it's not that keeps saying not supported at this time only thing I can think of is my firestick is what's making my TV smart I do not have a smart TV I have an HD TV that's the only thing I can think of
