First, I'd like to say thank you up front to Amazon for the very quick action in recent days to take down infringing products (these were not Merch shirts - but other products) where people had blatantly copied my designs.
The way I happened on these infringements of my designs is rather ironic: I became an associate and now pirated copies of my own designs are appearing in the "native ads" on my own website - right next to the original designs!
I was very pleased that all the infringements that copied my designs were taken down by the Amazon team within one day of my reporting them.
However the shops which copied my items clearly contain many other works that flagrantly infringe the rights of other individual designers as well as of major brands, continue to operate. I'm wondering what Amazon's policy is. How many infringement reports does it take before a shop is taken down all together? Or does Amazon only respond on reports of indidivual items, which is not much of a dissuasion. (NOTE: Edited to make this a little clearer)
