How to get invited for Amazon drive development?

Thank you for your interest. The Amazon Drive API and SDKs are currently closed to new developers. We received an overwhelming number of API invitation requests with many innovative integration scenarios. We have ended the invitation period to focus on enabling new customer experiences with current developers.
Honestly, this is very disappointing. I was rejected twice and now it seems I don't get a chance at all. Any plans to lift the ban at some point?
Unfortunately, we have no updates at this time, but I'd suggest keeping an eye on our developer blog here for any news on the matter.

Hi there,
Regrettably, we don't have any updates at this time, but please follow our Developer Blog for any news and announcements (developer.amazon.com/blog). Thanks!

Please consider that the longer ya'll wait to figure this out, the more insecure the platform becomes. We're forced to piggyback off other app's. See: https://github.com/alex-phillips/node-clouddrive/issues/47
Hi William,
As mentioned above, Amazon Drive is closed to new developers, and so it's not possible to whitelist an app. Thanks!
It is possible, Amazon just chooses not to do it.

Are API's available for personal use? I have a bunch of automation scripts I need to manage my drive.
