Authentication for https://layla.amazon.co.uk/api using php or python

Hi, I have been going round and round in circles all day trying to find out how to make a php or python script authenticate so that I can pull the JSON from https://layla.amazon.co.uk/api/cards? I can hit the rest API with the browser and see the JSON but obviously this doesn't help when I want to use a script to login and grab the data back. I have seen lots of old python scripts that seem to do the trick but it seems that these dont work anymore. I have an access and refresh token available as I have written a script in php that retreives these but im not sure how or if I can use the access token to authenticate me against this address. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
