Any Quick Start guide using Node.js on Elastic Beanstalk?
I'm trying to jump into the AWS environment to publish my first Echo app. I've made some sense of the mess of available services in AWS, and it looks like I want to use Elastic Beanstalk. I've started a Node.js instance, and now I'm going through the docs on how to deploy using eb. I thinking I'm getting close, but I was wondering if anyone has written a step-by-step guide with the specific intent of creating an Echo app using Node.js on EB? If not, perhaps I will document my steps. Is it against any rules to publish such a guide now? Ideally, I would love to have an environment already setup, where I can just publish my js code to handle requests. Someone could easily create a service to allow developers easy access to an SSL service using Node and Express, right? Just sign up, publish, and you're all done. Again, if no one does this, maybe it's an opportunity for me. ;) Matt Kruse
We don't currently have any guide for getting started with Node.js on Elastic Beanstalk. However, it would be great if you could document your steps and any issues you had to make it easier for other developers who want to do the same thing. I would suggest posting that guide as a new topic on this forum, as that would get the most visibility from other Alexa developers. We're always looking to make the process easier for developers.
