What really gets to me now is the fact that a lot of my designs have been removed by Merch for not selling, and yet THOSE SAME DESIGNS HAVE BEEN STOLEN AND ARE BEING SOLD elsewhere. So basically, I just made a bunch of tshirt designs for THIEVES TO SELL and I not only will never see a dollar profit, but I can no longer even link back to MY OWN DESIGN to prove it's mine. I'm sorry but this is shameful.
How is this person still around? The first shirt listed in that link is a design stolen from another seller and it's clearly distorted yet it's selling well.... it has a 54,000 rank. Why is Amazon ignoring this request? Ridiculous!!!!
It makes me wonder how many similar accounts are out there.. Long shirt is obvisouly one of the more prolific and effective thiefs, but Im sure there are many others. I just can't fathom how Amazon allows this - sure they get their share of the profits, but in the long run this will drive great designers away from Merch by Amazon.
Its baffling isnt it that amazon puts so little value on our original designs. They really just dont care. Its seems the thieves dont have anything to lose do they? they can steal our hard work with little or no risk. Amazon rarely comment on the copyright infringement except to cut and paste the same old (barely) effective instructions on making a report.
Why is the "Amazon Merch Print on demand" service the only one to treat its Content Providers with such a lack of respect? What is the reason? Lack of staff? lack of resources?
Sales at my other print on demand services like Cafepress and Zazzle are as you would expect before Xmas, vibrant and numerous.
Its very sad. I really want them to fix it. I joined Amazon Merch at the beginning and the program has struggled for over a year now and the problems just seem to be getting worse and worse.
Here is another p4p copycat: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=w_bl_sl_s_ap_web_7141123011?ie=UTF8&node=7141123011&field-brandtextbin=legend+tee This guys has 319 shirts up. Most like all p4p (I havet verified all, all I've checked has been p4p). I just cant fathom why this sellers has been tiered up to 500 (possibly more) and there are hundreds who creates original content and wont be tiered up.
I am wondering if every single designer needs to report him individually. If thats the case thats kind of insane. Amazon could take 15 minutes and search just a handful of his designs to see that these are all pesky "clones" :/ and shut them down
Dying! I literally just messaged the copyright team yesterday when I found out this looser stole two more of my designs and pleaded with them to review his or her account as 99% are east PBP theft. I must have reported him at least 12 other times already
