From this page we see that we can earn commissions on affiliate links that allow the user to purchase things on amazon.
I have three questions:
1. URLs. How should we format the URL to include the affiliate code and store id from our Amazon Associates account? Is there a link to this info somewhere?
2. Relevance. Right now we use Amazon's mobile ads. They are amazing, because they track the user and offer them relevant products. For example, I was looking at a couch on Amazon, then an ad appeared in our app which showed me this couch and invited me to buy it. The question is: how can we display Amazon products with the same relevance as the ads, but then take the user to the Associates link / deeplink into Amazon app instead of them clicking on the ad? If there is no other way, then we keep displaying the ads for the relevance of the product, find out the product id from the link url of the ad that is going to be clicked, and then take the user to the Amazon Associates instead?
3. Monetization. What is the difference, practically speaking, in terms of earnings for ads on a CPM / CPC basis as we have with Amazon Ads, vs. using Amazon Associates instead and earning a CPA commission on each purchase? Can we earn both somehow, and stay within the Amazon terms of service?
