Is there a way to batch upload in-app purchase items? We plan to have many entitlements and would like an easier way to upload them than entering them one at a time. Thanks.
We are pleased to announce that we have added the ability to upload multiple IAP items at once. Please see the announcement including links to blog post and guide docs here: https://forums.developer.amazon.com/content/kbentry/96542/new-feature-in-app-purchase-batch-submission.html
I thought of something I wanted to add to this discussion. For testing, we are generating the amazon.skdtester.json JSON file used by the Amazon App Tester app. This is also the file that is downloaded after entering in-app purchasing items. All we really need is to upload this same file to Amazon and they would have most, if not all, the information entered into the IAP forms. If additional information was needed, we could add fields to the JSON file. Building this one file and uploading it would be much easier than tediously entering data into those multiple-page forms.
Maybe that will change somewhere down the line. In the meantime, maybe I can use Mac automation to enter the in-app purchase items.
