Pratik, it's not just logging in to see it., it's a business process detail. Don't you see how excited people are in the Merch group in FB when they share they get tiered up?!? I don't look at that anyways at first.
It's getting a congratulations email that you tiered up, maybe other helpful tips or ideas or info to influence us to continue getting better which means more products sold for Amazon
I don't think that they don't send an email 'on purpose'. It's probably a case of it not working currently and being lower priority than other Merch issues like scaling and capacity. I recommend that people try to log in each day to see if they've been approve. Many people are pleasantly surprised to find out that they've been approved.
Amazon really should spend more money on programers. So many of the simple problems the Merch platform suffers from could be fixed within a week. Look at every time you order something from Amazon. They send you a receipt email and then when they ship your package they send you an email that the shipping process has begun.
Fair enough. But I would think that this is a pretty basic thing if they are manually tiering up people, is that not the case? I'd it's a coding thing then a template email can be sent every time a tier changes. Not everyone is working on scaling
