I am reviewing Alexa for a hosted VOIP service. This would be for both speech synthesis (we already do this), but new would be speech recognition. The VOIP service is offered to business users (not a consumer product). End users access our web site to configure the VOIP system. The use is for in telephone system auto attendants.
I can't quite figure out how the authentication should be used. It would be confusing to our customers to have to authenticate somehow with Amazon - is this a requirement of Alexa or is it allowable for us to authenticate as ourselves?
