There are a couple things that have been making it difficult for me to use the new forums, and as a result I just kind of... haven't...
- The "updated" sorting option doesn't actually seem to sort things by updated date. In the Alexa->ASK subforum, for example, the top item in the "updated" sort was created May 16 (and last commented on by Jo that same day).
- I'm not sure how to tell which posts are unread or not. On the old forums, posts that were unread would show up in bold in the list view. What is the equivalent here? My approach in the past was to essentially skim everything, and help where I could. For that to work, however, I need to know what I have and haven't read yet.
- Why were many ASK forums collapsed into a single firehose? Am I missing something here?
- I'm "following" the Alexa->ASK space, but I don't know what that means. Is there some sort of special sorting/filtering/notification process associated with that?
