I had just assumed I wasn't the only case and that a bunch of low tier sellers would be in the same bugged state, but I haven't seen anyone else talking about it. Is anyone else completely unable to add or edit listings, even after deleting designs to drop below the design cap?
When I checked in Friday night and found that my dashboard was now showing the long-awaited design-based upload changes, I was excited. I am on Tier 25, so I would think it comes as no surprise that I had maxed out my designs prior to the update last week, but with design-based I figured I could at least add different products ever-so-slowly over time. But so far, no.
With the update I saw that I would be temporarily limited to 1 product submission per day, but so far I've been able to do nothing but delete. Even when editing an existing listing the save button is disabled, with a warning "You’ve reached your design limit. Delete existing designs if you’d like to create more. Manage your designs."
So, although I figured this is technically incorrect, I assumed just a minor release glitch that I could get around by deleting one. So that's what I did 4 days ago. The manage screen straight away updated to show only 24 listings, and the one I deleted (which had no sales history anyway) immediately stopped appearing in search results.
But every time I go into editing an existing design, the same issue still persists. I had 24/25 designs on the manage page, but dashboard showed 24/1600 products and 25 of 25 published designs(um, what?) even 4 days later, and somehow "You’ve reached your design limit. Delete existing designs if you’d like to create more. Manage your designs."
Well, I had another design published that I wasn't especially happy with and figured "where one delete failed, why not two!". Needless to say, deleting a second also didn't resolve the error.
I contacted support on day 1, but still waiting. I get that deleting a product isn't instant... but it's 4 days since the manage tab has shown only 24 listings, and now only 23.
If it's a widespread issue I understand the delay in support response, but if it is widespread, I must be looking in all the wrong places since I don't see anyone else mentioning it.
