After several submission rejections due to having content available for users who have donated to our organization via non - Amazon payment on our website, we removed content associated with these donations in order to comply with the Amazon In App Payment policy. Users are no longer directed to our donations links and cannot view any content they do not have access to. We tried to submit again but are now receiving a rejection message stating :"Your app makes digital content available for purchase inside the app, charges end users to use the app or its content, or facilitates non-Amazon account creation. Therefore, to be made available on the Amazon Appstore, it must use Amazon’s In-App Purchasing API (or other methods we make available to you) to process payment for such content, and may not facilitate or direct customers to use any other payment method (including hyperlinks or QR code) for Content intended to be used within your Mobile App."
As we have removed any reference to non Amazon payments, I can only assume the issue is linked to the fact we have our own user registration and login for non-Amazon accounts? Is this an issue that would prevent an app from being accepted? I'm assuming a lot of apps have their own registration/login process for non Amazon based accounts? I have tried repeatedly for further clarification on the Amazon contact form but I only receive the same response without any clarification as to the specific infraction. Any insights are greatly appreciated.
