Is there a way to upgrade the Webview control on a Fire Stick 3rd gen?

Is there a way to upgrade the Webview control on a Fire Stick 3rd generation? The Webview control currently uses Chrome 84.0.4147.111, and this version has some known flickering issues. Amazon uses their own custom Webview control, so installing the latest Android Webview doesn't help.

I just saw in our logs AFTT running AWV with chromium v87. The IP was coming from Brighton, MA, but that may be just a proxy that Amazon is using for off-shore testing. We see actually quite a lot of activity, mostly from India banging on our apps (I guess, testing IAPs that they broke last November, and so far didn't bother to fix; however, looking at the logs, the new code has also IAP issues - nightmare).

As there were rumors of updating some (all?) AFT devices to AFTSS(S) UI this March, maybe at the same time they will also bump up AWV's chromium version.
