I am using Fire TV Stick 4K with Yamaha RX-V681 AVR. Even though I set the resolution to auto (up to 4K UHD) and original frame rate ON, NO apps (other than prime video) can stream in its native resolution and frame rate. For example, Netflix/YouTube 1080p and 2160p (HDR or DoVi or SDR) always stream in the locked resolution of 2160p 60Hz.
My AVR doesn't support 10 bit HDR for frame rates of 50 or 60, so the HDR quality looks poor in Netflix (such as colour patches and banding artifacts) while the HDR in prime video looks great as it streams in 24/25 fps.
How to get rid of this issues with all other apps?
