firestick 4k 6.2.7.7 update ruined audio passthrough

This latest firestick 4k update 6.2.7.7 has stopped the ability of the audio passthrough from working...kodi users immediately noticed this as do users with mediaplayers which were set for audio passthrough ...the update causes a no audio condition with those players and passthrough setting on whereas previously, they passthrough dolby digital, DD+ and DTS when ever the specific audio track was present... please fix ASAP as this has severely dissapointed the use of the firestick for so many users....this is the 1st time in my experience with the firestick that an update has made my system worse...usually the previous updates have only improved video and audio quality...
