"We have a problem with the title of several listings (1463 to be more precise).
In inventory, the titles are (Object Object) (or variation of this title), but on the Amazon product page the title is ok.
Is it possible for you to make the modification and put the Amazon title in our inventory, as it was before? We haven't made any changes to that.
It creates a lot of problems at our warehouse when ordering."
Amazon Support most recent answer was "After checking the system, I was able to confirm that the updates are coming from a 3rd party application in your account. To avoid this changes in the future please contact your app manager to fix it or deactivate the app from your account and use Seller Central feeds to upload the information."
We did check with our 3rd party application Codisto witch is managing price, quantity and availability for our item. BUT, all content is managed by Flat File.
Note that we have also tried to disconnect the app and reset the connection of certain items and it did not have a notable effect on this specific problem.
After a long talk with Codisto support, they strongly believe that the problem is not on their end. I am asking you to investigate further this problem. Please read last Codisto answer :
"Based on the data that we have it seems that the product has been linked via the link listing page and the title is not something that Codisto send to Amazon. Please see the data below.
"Name": "Blue / 1 / M",
If we are pushing the title to Amazon, then the variant title should be "Blue / 1 / M" and not "[object Object]".
The title on this product may have something to do with the data upload with Amazon before linking the products to Codisto LINQ.
Please see this link as a reference on linking existing offer -Linking existing Amazon Offers
In this article, you will see that when we link the product in Shopify to your Existing Amazon offer that we do not send the listing details to Amazon. If you are to update the Amazon Listing Details (Title, Description, Bullets etc.) from your ecommerce platform/Codisto then you need to turn Listing Details "On" in the XpressGrid because Codisto syncs Offers only by default. "
Finaly, here are other important points :
-CAN THIS BE RELATED TO THE NUMBER OF CHARACTERS USED IN THE TITLES?
If you have any clue, please comment! :)
