In order to inform users the right Terms/Privacy, we need to find out from which Country the User is accessing from. To my understanding, the only methods to detect the Country of the User (or the Alexa device) are:
- To identify the device location (just country-region-postal-code) by API call .
- Or we can have them specify their Country explicitly at the sing-up (Account Linking).
Because language of the device/Alexa-account can be changed and even a person in the US can set the language of their device to something else; so, 'locale' (e.g., en-US, es-US, es-ES, de-DE…) in the 'request' does not imply the location necessarily…
Am I correct? Or there is any other way to find out the Country only (no need for Region/Postal-Code) that I am missing?
