I'm facing the following issue:
After installing the the 'alexa smart screen sdk' on a raspberry pi 3B+, compiling and verfying it with
PA_ALSA_PLUGHW=1 ./SampleApp/src/SampleApp ./Integration/AlexaClientSDKConfig.json DEBUG9
I can talk to Alexa without any problem.
But after compiling the second part aof the instructions starting at step 7, the compilation ends completely, and, when I start Alexa with
PA_ALSA_PLUGHW=1 ./modules/Alexa/SampleApp/src/SampleApp -C \
$HOME/sdk_folder/sdk-build/Integration/AlexaClientSDKConfig.json -C \
$HOME/sdk_folder/alexa-smart-screen-sdk/modules/GUI/config/SmartScreenSDKConfig.json -L INFO
all seems to be ok, opening a browser window is ok, and after pressing the 'A' key the reference changes from 'Idle' to 'listening'. That's all.
There is no change to 'thinking' and so I don't get any answer from Alexa. It seems that the microphone isn't working.
The settings concerning Audio seem to be ok, because if I test them with:
>>>>> arecord --device=hw:2,0 --format S16_LE --rate 44100 -c1 test.wav
>>>>> aplay --device=plughw:1,0 test.wav
I can hear the record.
The --device:hw:2,0 is ok, because 'arecord -l' is showing me
**** Liste der Hardware-Geräte (CAPTURE) ****
Karte 2: Device [USB PnP Sound Device], Gerät 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]
Sub-Gerät #0: subdevice #0
The '.asoundrc'-settings are the same as described in the tutorial, except the change to 'hw:2,0' instead of 'hw:1,0.
So, do I miss to make other settings? The only changes I made in the AlexClientSDK.json are those concerning
and entering the gstreamer-statement.
The 'clientId' and 'productId' are the same as in the 'config.jason'.
So, what could be the problem? Here, in the forum I only found several issues similar to my problem, but not the same.
I installed everything several times from scratch, but it's everytime the same behaviour.
