I am developing a skill in the developer console of Alexa. I was able to create a new skill and connect with the endpoint of skill. Even though I enabled the 'Location Services' in the permission settings, the request from the test console denied the read access of geolocation. In the documentation of Alexa, it is mentioned that the geolocation reading facility is only available for the real device and we can't get the location in the simulator for testing. Is that true?
I tried to use the full address and postal code permissions too. But I am getting the 403 forbidden error with a message 'access denied to requested resource'.
For the above case,I enabled the browser and device location permissions to allow. Also, the testing is only using developer console as the echosim is not working for me.
Is there any other way to test location related skills using the developer console? If not, is there any other simulator available for this purpose without going for a certification process?
