We are about to raise the praise of our In App subscription.
I understand that
* exisiting subscribers will continue to pay the lower price
* new subscribers will pay the higher price
We have a subscription screen in our app that links displays the price of the subscription. Currently that price is taken from
But, of course, this is no longer feasible once we raise the price of the SKU. I suscpect that the `Product.price` from the `ProductDataResponse` will then show the higher price - which we cannot show to exisiting user who are still paying the old, lower price.
I had hoped that the price is included in the `Receipt` returned in
but no such luck...
So, is there any way to get the actual effective price of the subscription for the current customer inside the app? One that does not involve keeping a list of price changes along with the dates inside the app and comparing the `Receipt.purchaseDate`?
