I love amazon except for two things that drive me to eBay to do my shopping.
First, when I select a sort method, it doesn't remember it when I do my next search. This is highly annoying and wastes my time.
Second, I hate the poorly implemented Amazon Search.
When I do a search for a product, Amazon often returns Tens of Thousands of results many of which aren't even close to being relevant. This happens even when I include several keywords in the search bar.
When a search can return Tens of Thousands of results, you need to provide much better filtering and an advanced search function much like the eBay and Google search functions provide.
This deficiency in the Amazon Search Function also drives me to eBay to do my shopping where their search bar enables me to quickly reduce the 10,000 search results to a mere hundred or so. A hundred search results is manageable and doesn't waste my time, but thousands of search results is practically useless.
