Radio station currently not available - TuneIn

We provide streaming audio services to radio stations. Our customers are reporting to us that they experience intermittent episodes during which Alexa does not recognize a request to play a specific radio station that a TuneIn skill exists for.For example, sometimes the phrase “play 98.5” will begin playback of radio station CHMP-FM 98.5 in Montreal, however on other occasions Alexa will return “98.5 is not available on TuneIn”.This issue has been recurring for several months with a number of our radio stations. Previously we had suspected a network resource issue as the cause because of the error messages we had seen, and updated resources.Currently one of our customers is again reporting this issue however we are not experiencing any resource constraints or receiving error messages.Can you suggest circumstances that may cause commands to become temporarily unavailable and what we can do to resolve this issue on behalf of our customers?

Is there any system-wide timeout setting after which if no response from the server, the connection gets terminated by Alexa?

What is the preferred/easiest way to figure out what is exactly happening when requesting to listen a certain radio station? How do we know what exact stream URL is going to start playing?

Does the system have any preference between ICY and HLS or it doesn’t matter? Can it play both of them without issues?

Is there any way to connect Echo/Echo Dot to a computer and debug skills?

I have just acquired this issue. Does anyone know how to fix it? I have 3 echo dots and 4 Bose Home 500 speakers. On two of the echo dots and all the Bose speakers, when I ask Alexa to play a tune in radio station, I get an answer "this ... radio station is currently unavailable." The third echo dot works fine. Also, the Bose speakers have preset buttons and by pressing the button and the radio station works fine. So I know the radio station is available and working fine. I just can't access it using Alexa on 5 of 7 devices. How do I fix this issue?

Following. Same issue here all of a sudden with a specific station (KNAU), while other favorite stations work fine. Googling the issue has been fruitless, except for determining that this issue seems to crop up regularly with no clear solution.

I just got Alexa dot... trying to play a station on TuneIn. Verbally alexa either does not understand what I am saying or simply playing whatever station it wants. If i find the station I want on Alexa app and press PLAY ON DOT, it tells me the station is unavailable. I know for sure that that station is very much available and operational. Why doesn't it play it?

I have been using my echo dot to say play WJHM and it would play my station wjhm102jamz.com and all of a sudden it now says WJHM102jamz.com is currently not available on TuneinLive. We are down listeners by half!!!!

I’m Having the same issue it’s been intermittent but it’s been really bad the last couple days we can’t get it to tune in to a radio station in any of our rooms.

I see I am not alone. I have the same problem with that station, but it is weird in my case. I have several echos and echo dots. Some of them can play the station in tune-in without any problem or delay. Instead, the others say that the station is not currently available in tune-in live (I have one of the echo playing already). The only difference between the device are the time when I bought them. All that I've got from last summer until today are not capable to play that station.

It is getting really annoying because only with tune-in I could listen in audio group radio.

I have a similar issue...some months ago, my 3 Echo Dots stopped reaching "Ici Musique Toronto" and "Ici Musique Montreal". Meanwhile, my four 2nd-gen Echo Plus units have no problem. All on same WiFi network.
