I would like to see more configurable variables kind of like Sunset and Sunrise. Specifically, I'm looking for "temperature" variables.
Use case: I control my gas heating stove with Alexa using the temperature sensor in Echo Plus and a smart plug. I have a routine that is "When temperature is over 70 turn fireplace off".
If I decide 70 is too warm, I have to go in and edit the routine. This isn't super convenient and means that I'm the only one in the family that can control that (although anyone can say "turn fireplace off").
Suggestion 1: make a couple of hard coded variables ala Sunset and Sunrise called "Too warm" and "Too cold". Allow those to be set via Alexa: "set 'too warm' to 70 degrees". Routine could then be "When too warm turn fireplace off"
Suggestion 2: make arbitrary variable/parameter system so I could create my own variable called "too warm" and be able to set it via alexa (as above).
