Hi to everyone,
I'm actually developing a skill that integrates APL documents. I have an Echo dot and a Firestick, I want to see the APL images in my TV through my Firestick (that theoretically supports). I tried to use my echo dot as vocal input to use my skill and then render the images on the Tv with Firestick, but all I get are error messages that state that my device doesn't have a screen (I inserted a short code in my lambda that warns you when the skill is not used in a screen-enabled device). Now obviously when I invoke my skill I use my echo that doesn't have a screen BUT is there way to send just my APL document to render to my firestick and handle the vocal input/output with my echo? Or I have to use the TV remote of the firestick as input and the Tv speakers as output ?(I'm trying to avoid this ).
The use of my skill would be something like this :
I (to my Echo): "Open my skill"
Echo : "Welcome! etc..."
*Firestick renders the Welcome screen APL*
I :"Open this"
Echo :"Ok, this is ...."
*Firestick renders the image of what I asked*
And so on.
I connected the Echo and the Firestick, in fact when I ask to my echo to open Youtube, it opens Youtube app in my Firestick, I want something similar with my skill.
Tl;dr Can I use Echo dot as vocal interaction and Firestick as APL images renderer in the same skill?
Thank You, I've searched the blog many times but I didn't find anyone with my same problem :(
