I have an app that is rejected currently. It requires a membership to use for video streaming & the reason for rejection was the following:
- Your app encourages piracy or illegal download of content.
I received no extra info, just a link to the guidelines for publication. There is no method of download & we are working with a third-party developer to also get this published who has successfully published apps with others and has their own published in a similar format.
I listed that the reason was not helpful & also started a case. It has been two days now & I have not heard back. I do not have an option to change anything (that I can see) & resubmit.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is this an automated publication process or is this something that would be reviewed manually & I should expect to hear back from a real person?
Thanks for any advice/info!
