I have a camera that offers a REST API which can be access via an IP address that it can get once it connects to the WiFi. My problem is that this is a local ip address and the AWS lamba (AWS cloud service) won't be to reach it because it's not a public API.
Are there any techniques to make this work? For example, I have some smart plugs that can respond to an Alexa skill without a hub. I imagine they have some networking software and hardware on them for the IP address to be public or something like that.
