A couple of weeks after our web app was approved (also for all 2019 devices), we received an email from Amazon stating that the app fails on Grundig Vision 7 with the result being '"App was built for older Android version and may not work properly" warning Pop-up observed on launching the App.' In that email there is also language asking us to correct this issue, and resubmit when we are done.
Well, our app is a WASK/web app, as such we provide a zip to Amazon, and Amazon does Cordova wrapping; therefore, all errors related to Cordova build have nothing to do with us. Do we need to resubmit, as we have no clue when Amazon will fix this issue?
Is Amazon looking into fixing Cordova build with respect to Android Pie?
Also, if that email is submission related, why it is not integrated with Dashboard / Review Status, and possibly App Files (removing/adding respective devices)?
Thank you, Jacek
We did sent 'Contact Us' message a week ago, but so far we no reply. Although, looks like the current wait time for Contact Us reply may be about 5 months (delay after we got response for other case).
