I'm trying to see if it's possible to stream a custom video skill hosted on S3 bucket to a smart tv from an Echo dot? I've read up on the video app interface and Alexa Presentation Language as options to stream custom videos, but how does one invoke and stream it on a smart tv/Fire Stick with Alexa.

thanks for your post.
The VideoApp interface is used to natively play videos from your skill, on screen-enabled Echo devices.
However, you could build an Alexa Presentation Language layout with the Video component, and let your skill play the video on the LaunchRequest.
Then you can launch your skill directly from the Fire Stick.
