Urgent - Session Attributes while eliciting slots manually

I am eliciting the slot values by myself. Once all slots are filled , i am using session.attributes for some dialog with the user. After this I am manually putting dialogState to "COMPLETED". Now my doubt is does the session ends when I do this. If not what do I need to do to end the session. Thanks in advance. It's pretty urgent

Not sure what platform you are using for your development but generally if you set shouldEndSession to true that will end the session.

Hi Charles. Thanks for replying. Just one more thing if the dialogSate is "COMPLETED", does that mean the session is ended?

"COMPLETED" doesn't mean, that session is over. It means, that all the values are collected for your dialog. Read more about it in the docs.

One more thing, when dialog is completed you have to set update intent, which could end your session if you want. More about it in the docs here.

Sorry for the late reply, totally missed your comment. Yes setting 'shouldEndSession' to true signals alexa that session is over.
