I was thinking today, after reposting some shirts do we really need 180 day takedown policy. Comparing this to other POD sites that allow you to upload as many shirts as you want and they never get taken down.
Come on, this is Amazon. One of their main businesses is servers and cloud hosting and a variety of other massive data storage services. So they are basically telling us that they are going to remove our shirts that don't sell after 180 days. I just don't buy it.
When I started this program there was no such policy three years ago. Then it was slowly introduced. There is no way that a lot of our shirts will ever get viewed due to the massive numbers of content creators Amazon has let in.
So it would seem that removing shirts that probably the buying public has never seen is kind of ludicrous because Amazon is one of the largest companies that specialize in hosting data. They have massive data centers all across the United States.
I just don't find this policy useful and it is more of a waste of time and energy for us content creators. These are my opinions and my views based on being in the program for three years.
