Hi there, I've been working on a cooking skill for the Amazon Echo Show and I have a page where the Mise En Place is being shown using APL. I want users to be able to walk around their pantry and come back to this page and reference it, but as of currently it times out much too quickly.
I am a self taught programmer that's really trying to get the UX refined on this. Maybe I'm missing something technical here because I'm not experienced, but as far as I can tell the only ways I can extend the the lifetime of this page for users to look at it is to
set shouldEndSession to false, which only extends the life of the session by 8 seconds with a reprompt, which I don't want.
put a silent audio file to play for a reasonable length of time/ maybe looped
or turn the still frame into a video to be looped
However, I believe these last two would increase the compute costs for my skill; not desirable for me as a developer
Is there any other way to extend the length of still frame APL sessions? From what I understand, sessions have limited time they stay open because of security/privacy concerns but I have no need to listen to users when this picture is showing.
