I have 4 smartplugs. To improve my sleep I turn my wifi/router off every night at midnight and back on at 5:30am. If I turn my 4 smartplugs off with the Alexa app before the router turns off and back on again after the router turns back on - everything is fine. If I forget to turn the smartplugs off before the router the smartplugs lose connectivity and the only way I can get them working again is to unplug/replug them. If the wifi goes off for a short time (say 10 minutes) there is no problem.
Please fix this bug.
My guess is you have a counter that is retrying the wifi connectivity after losing contact and if that counter is exceeded then you require a power cycle. If you were to make the counter long enough to not get exceeded in 6 hours then my smartplugs would work fine.
I like my smartplugs but I would like them even better if this were fixed.
