So, I am developing a simple storytelling app for Alexa where a pre-generated story is sliced up into individual sentences. After a prompt by its audience, Alexa continues with the next sentence of the story and waits for a new command to keep it going.
While this works quite straight forward and is tested successfully in Alexa's development environment, I am running into problems when testing it with an Echo device. Far too often does the device simply jump out of the skill and stops listening. While that being the case, checking in Alexa's Home Website (alexa.amazon.com) I can see, that it not only understood the command but also performed the task and plotted out the correct response there. It seems completely unlinked from the devices behaviour.
Does anyone know what's going on here or experiencing similar behaviour?
Thanks in regard,
