There are two things I think are currently missing from Alexa routines:
1. If I setup a routine to do something, like 'lights off'. I can set it to run on one of my Echos, say the living room echo. This will turn off my living room lights only. Which is great, as I don't want the lights to switch off in other rooms, as this would annoy the family.
But if I want another 'lights off' routine for my bedroom lights, I cannot use the phrase 'Lights off', as its already been used, even though its assigned to a particular echo. The Alexa app won't allow me to reuse the phrase.
It would be great if you can use the same phrase, to control different groups (of lights in this example) as long as they are assigned to different echos.
2. It would be good if I could assign multiple phrases to the same routine, to cover all possible variations of a routines name. For example:
Switch on living room light
Turn on living room lights
Living room lights on
I can achieve this, but I need to create separate routines, which can quickly become difficult to manage. Instead it would be great if you can assign multiple phrases to the same routine (like above).
