I love the new Polly voice integration, except for one thing...

Matthew's dead. Kendra tried to warn him, but she had to wait a full stop, I believe, because Alexa tried to correct my punctuation.
This is one example. I can think of about a hundred million more use cases where characters interrupt each other in the real world.
Can this be fixed, soon, please?
If there's a way I can do it myself without resorting to rendering my own speech, I would appreciate any tips. Thanks!
