How do I fix this. Just started getting this yesterday after months of our app working.
The expired SSL cert in my case was the aws-sdk + mobile analytics js, which is now deprecated, I removed these and it's working locally - submitted update to store.
Same here. three different TV's (two smart, one not) , three different Amazon fire sticks, at both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. Same message as above. Have never had this occur with Acorn TV before in the ~1 year we have had it. Some other apps seem to work correctly..specifically, Netflix, Hulu,
Same thing started tonight with AcornTV app in FireTV. I can open Acorn app and browse around but when a select an episode the secure connection error comes up and takes 4-6 clicks of close app button to get out. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache and data nothing helps. This is a first for this type of error with AcornTV app.
I am having the same issue with the AcornTV app. I can start the app and navigate the shows, select an episode, then when I select Play I get the error. I have to select Close 4 times before it clears. I cleared the cache and got the same issue. I then cleared data and had to log back into the app. Same issue.
