Duplicate App Issues

Hello,

We have an unpublished App on the developers portal, we're now the publisher.

The Dev recreated the app on our Dashboard with the same Bundle ID and IAPs as advised by our Amazon developer contact.

Now, when trying to upload the APK we get the error:

"Failed to upload APK. The package name of the uploaded APK, com.sevenpointred.expanse, is already in use by an app owned by a different developer. Please contact us for more information."

Fair enough makes sense - the system should never have let us add a duplicate bundle ID in the first place but never mind.

So, our IAPs are submitted and approved - it would seem our only option is to:

Change the bundle ID in our portal.
Transfer the original app from the developers portal to ours.

But my question is, will we now have a conflict of IAPS - as they're both using the same IDs?
For example: com.sevenpointred.expanse.productname

Hey Dean. This is a great question! And you have included a lot of helpful information so thanks for doing that :).

Since you will not be able to upload your APK file to the game on your own account while your app is live on your developers account, we recommend having the developer remove the APK from their account so that you can continue the publishing process on your own account. Your IAP's should not be impacted by the acive ones on your developers account though.
