It seems like it currently takes way longer than usually for Skill certification…
I submitted mine on 2018-06-20 and until now there's been no response – it's been a full week and nothing happened so far :(
Any issues with Skill certification currently? Maybe just for Spanish language as it basically is an update to include Spanish.

I sent them an email through the contact form and after waiting for 4 days they replied to that email and the same day reviewed my skill.
I did the same thing, they replied on July 5th that the skill was successfully submitted for certification and asked the certification team for feedback or what's going on, no news since then.
I got in touch with one of their evangelist for italy on twitter, he will get back to me by end of the week. I'll update here if I have any news...
There seems to be an amazingly long turnaround time for both the certification and the response to the contact form. After a month I don't really expect my Spanish skill translation to be approved anytime soon. Apparently there's issues in the internal testing as well, as card images are being displayed anywhere but in the certification interface. The team is working on it though, I was told.

Same here, submitted a Spanish skill on June 21st and no answer, the email that I got once I sent the certification said that they would provide feedback or publish it within 5 business days.
I think they may have gotten way too many submissions because of the first 100 skills get a free Echo device and access to the Alexa Development Preview.
Sent them an email when I replied here, two days since then, still no answer to the email or alexa skill...
Any feedback?. Amazon is REALLY bad at responding to developers that they say are so needed to improve their users experience. It's not feasible to respond to production support questions with a 10-15+ day turnaround time.
I've sent them an email as well on Friday or Saturday and haven't received any feedback on that either. Seems like developer support is currently stopped.
Bad thing is, that when giving feedback in their Amazon app having product issues or even feature ideas, they call you within the hour…
