Change background slideshow display speed for Echo Show.

We would like to use our album from Prime photos as the default background but have the image change much more quickly. Basically we want it to turn on and start working just like a photo frame including starting over when the album is done. Being able to set the photo change speed through preferences would be great.

The slow speed (10 sec) is too frantic. We need a way to input a custom time (or at least more choices e.g. 25, 60, 120 sec...)

This looks to be more an issue for Customer Service than related to the development of skills for Alexa. I would suggest getting in touch with customer service here who should be able to assist with your matter further.

As this thread does not seem to be related to Alexa Skills' development, I will proceed with its closure.

Looks like you can change the speed of the slide show.

Settings > Display > Photo Slideshow > Speed

3 Settings:

Slow - 10 secs
Medium - 6 secs (Default)
Fast - 2 secs

I checked with Amazon support and they told me that the echo show 8 only has one speed; 1 minute.

I tried changing the speed to slow, med, and fast, but on all three settings it takes 1 full minute for it to change photos.
