New to Alexa's wonderful world and having a blast with it. I am not a developper but interested in learning.
I was looking into skills blueprints and got a few questions.
How could one create a private RSS feed for the Flash Briefing skill? Only invited people could include it in their list of feeds. This could interest workgroups or families (that are in different time zones for example).
I was also thinking about a scheduled message on specific days but I understand why push notifications might be invasive (if unwanted).
My dad is older, lives alone, far away, and is asleep when I am awake. I am getting his house set up with Echo(s) this summer and am thinking about all the possibilities (fun ahead!). What I am trying to do ultimately is greet him in the morning with a recorded private message feed or push a scheduled event. That may seem trivial to some but that could entertain him very much.
I looked at the threads and I saw an interest for pushing scheduled events, which seems to violate the customer agreement and I totally understand. A private feed might be a partial solution as it requires the recipient of the message to subscribe to the feed.
Also, would a shared calendar be a solution? But that might require Alexa to manage several calendars at once for one person. Not sure if that is possible.
Or is it possible to link Echos from several households somehow? Or businesses?
Being a prof in International Business, I see a load of business applications for that. Just trying to figure what works or not (for now).
Thanks for any hint.
