I'm trying to add other English-speaking locales to my existing English (UK) skill in order to make it more widely available.
I've duplicated my interaction model for each new locale, built them all successfully and tested them in the simulator and on a Dot. All good. The invocation name is the same in each locale.
In the pre-submission validation check (Launch > Submission) I'm seeing this error:
The invocation name is not unique, we find same invocation name at skill [ long skill ID here ] on [en_US]. In the Build tab, go to the Invocation section for [en_US] to adjust the invocation name.
That's the only error - my other new target locales all pass validation. (CA, AU and IN)
Am I wrong in thinking that invocation names do not have to be unique?
I understood that uniqueness isn't required because skills with the same invocation name won't necessarily be enabled on the same device (and the user alway has the choice). There's no indication of uniqueness as a requirement in Amazon's official invocation name requirements document.
Thanks for any insights!
