Finally Merch Support have added me to the thread to discuss issues of mine and others who are concerned with what is going on with Merch By Amazon in 2018..
Why are new uploads not selling? Since the throttle in December nothing seems the same on Merch. As a Seller for the last year and a half on the platform, on tier 6000 with 400 uploads a day you can directly see from sales reports and various forums how everyone has been affected in 2018.
Approx 99% of uploads are not showing or not selling since 2018. This is very painful as a full time designer spending hours upon hours designing and uploading on the very tedious upload system only to have hundreds of shirts fall off daily once the 90 days have expired.
When contacting Merch support all we get are generic responses "As a print on demand service, we can fulfill a fixed number of orders each day". Please tell me WHY are new applications being accepted in their thousands each day when Merch cannot keep up or have not fixed the issues that need to be dealt with? Surely the doors should be shut on new applications being accepted until these problems are ironed out once and for all.
The so called "Gurus" are also adding to the demise of a great platform for designers. Selling courses to people who have absolutely no experience or background in designing with the false promise of thousands of dollars in royalties with passive income are only after the course fees and saturating a market with bad designs. These people are toxic to the Merch environment.
I would love to get some straight answers on what is going on with Merch? I am personally not uploading another shirt until i see some new designs selling, i just cannot justify the effort i am putting with the results we are getting in 2018.
I would like to see a SELLER CENTRAL system where we pay monthly to weed out all these newbies and to have proper analytics, reports and advertising.
