We submitted an app 5-6 weeks ago. The app is still "Under Review". This seems excessively long to me but it is our first submission to Amazon. I've tried opening a ticket to which I got an answer that was totally disconnected to the issue. Can anyone offer advice as to how we might get things moving or at least some feedback on what's normal for review time? Thanks!
Still trying to get some kind of help or answer in getting our app submission approved. After submitting multiple support tickets going back to Oct of last year and getting basically nothing back Amazon has now suggested this: "We believe your content is better suited for publication on our Kindle eBook store. Please submit your content at Kindle Direct Publishing (
https://kdp.amazon.com/help)." How we are suppose to submit an app that delivers a catalog of 4500 audiobooks to something that only takes "digital text" is beyond me and of course I can get no one at Amazon to respond to us on this. If anybody can offer any words of advice as to how we can get Amazon to engage in a real productive discussion about our app submission I would be grateful to have it.
Same problem here. All we received was an email saying "Thank you for writing in. We consider a variety of factors as we evaluate each app for Kindle Fire Tablets, including the quality of experience the app offers and compatibility with the device. While our goal is to offer a broad and compelling assortment to Kindle Fire Tablet customers, not all apps available through Amazon Apps are currently available on Kindle Fire Tablets." - which is not at all connected to our problem. We requested additional information and advise on how to proceed twice since then but did not receive any reply. Our app is still stuck in the "Under review" state. Michael
We have submitted multiple times to Contact Us, the most recent one being yesterday. The only response we ever received to these inquiries had nothing to do with the question we are asking. I turned to this medium out of frustration with the the lack or response to the contact us process. Can you just explain what the typical time frame for In Review is? If >8 weeks is typical then at least I know we havent gotten lost in the system and need to try to be patient for awhile longer. Thanks!
