Hi guys,
after my game has been successfully released for FireTV, all FireTV devices as well as the amazon website lists my app as having in app purchases, but this is not true. I didn't add the Amazon IAP SDK (only GameCircle) and did not define any items for in app purchase. There does not seem to be any option in the app store settings to disable that IAP is shown to the end users.
Any chance to disable the IAP hint? Any help is highly appreciated.

Basically, if your app is not using any IAP functionality, then check your Android manifest file for the associated receiver and permission:
<receiver android:name = "com.amazon.device.iap.ResponseReceiver" >
<intent-filter>
<action android:name = "com.amazon.inapp.purchasing.NOTIFY"
android:permission = "com.amazon.inapp.purchasing.Permission.NOTIFY" />
</intent-filter>
</receiver>
and remove it, as it normally tells the host and reporting systems that your app uses IAP, even if there's no actual IAP code in your app.
Another thing to check is the linked in-app purchasing library (.jar file). If you downloaded Amazon SDK for Android, chances are you linked the in-app-purchasing-2.0.76.jar file to your project, which could be the reason for displaying the message that your app uses IAP. If so, then remove / unlink that library. After that re-build and re-submit an update, and hopefully that message will be gone. Thanks!.
