I've "Enable Amazon Music? *" set to "Yes" but I still get "Amazon music is not supported on this device." error. My assumption is that once they approve Music, the music portion will work. How do I get it working?
Hi Eric, thank you for your reply. Yes, I got the email but the application still says Pending, and when I tried to play music, it says Amazon Music is not supported. My account id is
email@example.com and Device Type ID is my_vinci. Could you please help check on the status?
It has be approved. I received the email from Alexa team. But it's still pending state, and say Amazon music is not supported on this device when asking it to play music. Here is the email content: "Good news! The Amazon Alexa team has approved your request to access Amazon Music streaming through the Alexa Voice Service developer preview. You can immediately start streaming music from Amazon Music. We’re working hard to offer even more music providers so keep an eye out on our forums and blogs for updates. In order to get started with Amazon Music, first make sure you have created your Amazon Music Account and then visit our documentation. If you need further help, browse or post on our forums. Thanks for your interest in the Alexa Voice Service developer preview. The Amazon Alexa Team"
Amazon music support has to be manually approved. Clicking "Enable Amazon Music" submits a request for us to review, after which support for music will be turned on. You shouldn't need to do anything special to use music on your end (assuming you're using the reference app).
